The Charter Oak Figure Skating Executive Board was informed on December 23, 2023 of the International Skating Center of CT’s intention to form a new club. There are no plans at this time to merge Charter Oak Figure Skating with the new club that is being promoted as The Skating Club of Connecticut.
What does this mean for you and your skater? At present, there are no immediate changes. ISCC has assured us that all freestyle ice will continue to be accessible to skaters from all clubs. For more information, please read the letter below.
